WILD WEST SHOOTOUT NIGHTLY RESULTS IN ARIZONA
(January 14, 2018)
Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, wrapped up the 12th Annual 'Wild West Shootout' tonight at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona and was one of the 45 entrants who signed in to the pit area to vie for the $13,000 windfall in the miniseries finale. Terry clicked off the fourth fastest lap in his group during qualifying prior to finishing fourth in his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the eighth row in the 50-lap headliner and receiving nose damage from getting caught up in a wreck, TP wound up finishing right where he started... in the fifteenth position.

(January 13, 2018) The penultimate contest of the 2018 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries took place tonight at Arizona Speedway and another $5,000 payday awaited the winner who stood tall in victory lane at the Queen Creek, Arizona facility. Terry Phillips qualified fifth fastest in his group during the time trial session before placing seventh in his loaded heat race. After grabbing the third transfer spot through his B-Main, Terry worked his way past three competitors during the 40-lapper on his way to an eighteenth place showing.

(January 12, 2018) Yet another $5,000 winner's check was up for grabs tonight in the fourth round of the 'Wild West Shootout' at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona. Terry Phillips laid down the fifth quickest time in his group during qualifying, but could only muster a seventh place finish in his heat race and an eighth place effort in his B-Main. Unfortunately, TP was not able to transfer into the 30-lap feature event, which was eventually won by Mike Marlar.

(January 10, 2018) Following a couple of days off from racing competition, the third round of the six-race 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries took center stage tonight at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona. A hammer-down racing surface greeted the 45 Super Late Model entrants tonight following a deluge of overnight rain in the Phoenix area. Terry Phillips stopped the clock tenth fastest in his group during the time trial session and later finished seventh in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main. TP then moved forward past six cars during the $5,000 to win main event to record a seventeenth place effort in the 40-lapper.

(January 7, 2018) Night two of the 12th Annual 'Wild West Shootout' took place earlier tonight at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona and another $5,000 top prize was on the line. Terry Phillips clicked off the third fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session prior to grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his heat race. The Springfield, Missouri star then steered his new Black Diamond mount past eight cars during the 40-lap headliner on his way to strong sixth place showing behind only winner Don Shaw, Bobby Pierce, Mike Marlar, Ryan Gustin, and Brandon Sheppard!

(January 6, 2018) The Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) team lifted the lid to their 2018 campaign tonight in round one of the annual 'Wild West Shootout' at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona. A strong 50 car Super Late Model field assembled in the desert for the $5,000 to win opener. Terry Phillips unfortunately got into the wall during time trials and did not record an official lap, but he bounced back in a big way by vaulting all the way up to second in his heat race. After starting the 40-lapper from the outside of the sixth row, TP drove past a trio of competitors en route to a solid ninth place performance.
