Springfield, Missouri star Terry Phillips wrapped up his version of the 2014 racing season in victory lane on Saturday evening, November 15 at the pristine Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada! In the IMCA Modified 'Duel in the Desert' finale last night, Terry started the 40-lap headliner from the outside of the second row and made his way to the front of the stellar field on lap six. TP then held the point for the remainder of the distance to score his third career 'Duel in the Desert' title and the $7,777.77 payday over teammate Jordan Grabouski, R.C. Whitwell, Johnny Scott, and Chris Brown!

In preliminary action at LVMS, Terry finished second in his heat race and fourth in the 25-lap opener on Thursday night. In Friday's prelim, Terry won both his heat race and the 25-lapper to best Jordan Grabouski, R.C. Whitwell, and Jeff Taylor. TERRY PHILLIPS HEADS SOUTH TO ARK-LA-TEX...

Terry Phillips followed the United States Modified Touring Series to the racy Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana on November 6-8 for the 8th edition of the 'USMTS Winter Nationals.' The three-day showdown in the Deep South started on Thursday evening with a $2,000 to win opener. Terry ran into troubles during the weekend lid lifter and failed to transfer into the 30-lapper after finishing eleventh in his heat race and eighteenth in his B-Main.

On Friday night, TP ran seventh in his heat race and fifth in the B-main, but received a series provisional to gain access into the $3,000 to win headliner. During the course of the 40-lap affair, the Springfield, Missouri ace picked off sixteen competitors en route to a sterling eighth place run from the tail. Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team unloaded their Open Wheel Modified in the inaugural running of 'Halloween Havoc' from October 30-November 1 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The three-day USMTS extravaganza kicked off with a $2,000 to win opener on Thursday night. Terry unfortunately could not gain access into the 30-lap feature event after finishing seventh in his heat race and ninth in his B-Main.

At Ardmore on Friday evening, a $3,000 winner's check was on the line. Terry ran second in his heat race, which locked him into the inside of the fifth row for the start of the 40-lap headliner. TP HEADS TO SALINA FOR SOONER SHOWDOWN

Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) strolled into Salina Highbanks Speedway in Pryor, Oklahoma from October 23-25 for the 'Sooner Showdown,' which was a three-day Open Wheel Modified extravaganza. Terry Phillips won his heat race on all three occasions, but had varying results in the feature events. On Thursday night, Terry was leading the $1,500 to win A-Main before suffering a flat tire, which relegated him to a disappointing thirteenth place finish.

At Salina on Friday evening, TP was battling for the lead in the $2,000 to win headliner until unfortunately crashing with leader Chad Wheeler and plummeting to a twentieth place effort. The three-day crown jewel spectacular started with a pair of $7,000 to win preliminary programs at the 1/2-mile Marion County fairgrounds speedplant. On Thursday night, Terry Phillips finished seventh in his heat race and won the C-Main prior to running twenty-first in the B-Main. Terry Phillips suffered a flat tire in his heat race and finished fifth, but later won his B-Main to transfer into the 75-lap main event, which memorialized his Hall of Fame father. Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) stormed into I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska on July 18-19 for the 4th edition of the 'Silver Dollar Nationals,' which was co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA Series and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Terry Phillips finished eighth in his first heat race on Friday night and later earned a runner-up effort in his second prelim. TP then grabbed the second transfer spot through his B-Main on Saturday to transfer into the $30,000 to win headliner. The Springfield, Missouri star eventually wound up twenty-fourth in the 80-lap mega-event, which was won by Scott Bloomquist.

Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 5-7 for the 20th edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' The action-packed, three-day weekend kicked off with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs. On Thursday night, Terry Phillips ran fourth in his heat race prior to winding up twentieth in the $2,500 to win main event. At the "Big E" on Friday evening, Terry finished sixth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and thirteenth in the $5,000 to win feature event.

When Saturday rolled around at the 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant, all eyes were fixated on the hefty $100,000 winner's check in the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Terry ran seventh in his loaded heat race and later finished thirteenth in his consolation race. Unfortunately, the Springfield, Missouri star was unable to advance into the 100-lap crown jewel main event, which was eventually won by Dale McDowell. TP BAGS $10,000 IN DOUG MURPHREY MEMORIAL!!!

Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, went back Open Wheel Modified racing over the May 30-31 weekend and scored the $10,000 triumph in the annual running of the 'Doug Murphrey Memorial' at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana! After winning his two heat races on Friday night and taking the victory in his A-Qualifier on Saturday evening, Terry started the 50-lap feature from the outside of the front row. TP then dominated much of the race to claim the flag-to-flag win over Chris Brown, Cade Dillard, Dallas Everett, and Chris Henigan! Terry Phillips concluded his ultra-busy Memorial Day holiday weekend tonight in victory lane at Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri! After winning his heat race in preliminary action, Terry started from the pole position in the 30-lapper, which was sanctioned by the MARS DIRTcar Series. The Springfield, Missouri star then led the first 26 circuits of the annual 'Tony Roper Memorial' before giving up the point to Tony Jackson, Jr. However, on the final lap, Terry wrestled back the top spot to claim the $3,000 top prize for his fifth win of 2014 over Jackson, Jr., Jack Sullivan, Justin Asplin, and Jacob Magee!
