TERRY PHILLIPS TRAVELS TO HAWKEYE STATE

The #75 team made the journey to the Hawkeye State on April 18-19 for a pair of MARS DIRTcar Series and Corn Belt Clash co-sanctioned tilts at Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa and 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa. On Friday night at Davenport, Terry Phillips ran fifth in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later wound up seventeenth in the final rundown of the $3,500 to win main event. In the annual 'Slocum 50,' which boasted a $10,555 top prize on Saturday evening at Burlington, Terry finished fifth in heat race action, second in his consolation race, and fifteenth in the 50-lap weekend finale. TP IMPRESSIVE DURING WHEATLAND'S SPRING NAT'S!

Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) ventured to the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on April 11-12 for the inaugural running of the 'Spring Nationals,' which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA Series. On Friday night in the $2,000 to win weekend opener, Terry Phillips ran second in his heat race prior to picking off six competitors during the caution-free 30-lapper en route to a sterling runner-up performance behind only victor Jesse Stovall. In Saturday's $3,000 to win weekend finale, Terry once again finished second in heat race action and later claimed a strong fourth place outing in the 40-lap main event, as he trailed only winner Jeremy Payne, Chris Brown, and Chad Simpson. PHILLIPS WINS SPRING MELTDOWN OPENER AT I-80!
(April 7, 2014)
Terry Phillips reached victory lane for the third time in 2014 on Saturday evening, April 5 in the 'Spring Meltdown' opener at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska! Terry won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the 35-lap Lucas Oil MLRA Series feature event from the outside of the front row. The Springfield, Missouri standout then dominated the feature event to claim the $3,000 top prize over Tommy Weder, Jr., Brad Looney, Brian Birkhofer, and Chad Simpson!

On Sunday night, April 6, the MLRA 'Spring Meltdown' concluded at I-80 Speedway with a $2,000 to win program. Terry once again took home the win in his heat race prior to rolling off from the outside of the front row in the 30-lap main event. After leading early, TP slid back to fourth at the finish, as he trailed only victor Rodney Sanders, Brian Birkhofer, and Chad Simpson. KING OF AMERICA IV RESULTS FROM HUMBOLDT
(March 29, 2014)
The annual running of the 'King of America IV' wrapped up tonight at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas and a hefty $10,000 top prize was on the line. Terry Phillips earned the sixth transfer spot through the B-Main to gain access into the 100-lapper. After rolling off from the outside of the ninth row in the Open Wheel Modified extra-distance affair, TP was able to pass seven cars en route to an eleventh place performance.

(March 28, 2014) Night two of the 'King of America IV' program took place tonight at Humboldt (KS) Speedway and two more heat races were held to determine starting spots for Saturday's showdown. Terry ran fifth in his first heat race and third in his second heat race, but did not accumulate enough passing points to transfer into the $1,000 to win main event. After the two nights of preliminary action, Terry finds himself twentieth of the 93 entrants in overall passing points.

(March 27, 2014) Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, kicked off the 'King of America IV' weekend with the USMTS tour tonight at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas. Terry passed six competitors during his first heat race to finish in the sixth position, while he took home the heat race triumph in his second prelim. By virtue of accumulating one of the top sixteen figures in passing points, TP moved on to the $1,000 to win feature event where he ultimately wound up fifteenth in the 16-lapper.

(March 14, 2014) The 9th Annual 'Spring Fling' weekend commenced tonight at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas, as the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) sanctioned a $2,000 to win program. Terry Phillips ran fourth in his heat race, but later scored the win in his B-Main. After starting the 40-lap main event from the inside of the seventh row, TP was able to pick off nine competitors during the caution-free affair to claim a solid fourth place effort behind only winner Hunter Rasdon, Rodney Sanders, and Jeremy Payne.

WINTER MELTDOWN RESULTS FROM LAS CRUCES
(March 1, 2014)
The three-race 'Winter Meltdown' concluded tonight at SNMS and a $4,000 winner's check was up for grabs at the Las Cruces, New Mexico facility. Terry Phillips finished third in his heat race and later took the win in his consolation event. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the 50-lap main event, Terry was unfortunately the first retiree after only eight circuits due to mechanical woes and wound up twenty-sixth in the final finishing order.

(February 28, 2014) Round two of the 'Winter Meltdown' went down tonight at Southern New Mexico Speedway and a $3,000 top prize was on the line. Terry Phillips ran fourth in heat race action, but later scored a win in his B-Main to earn the fourteenth starting spot in the 40-lap feature event. The Springfield, Missouri star was then on the move during the A-Main, as he gained eight positions en route to a strong sixth place effort.

(February 27, 2014) Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) made their yearly trek to Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico today for the start of the 20th Annual 'Winter Meltdown.' This year, the program will feature three separate USMTS events - starting with tonight's $2,000 to win battle. Terry Phillips ran second in his heat race and later started the 35-lap main event from the inside of the third row. After slipping over the banking early in the race while battling for the lead and falling all the way back to seventeenth, Terry mounted a serious charge back through the talented field. TP eventually made it back to the third spot to finish behind only race winner Fito Gallardo and runner-up Dylan Smith.

Things came to a close tonight at El Paso Speedway Park, as the USMTS tour sanctioned a $3,000 to win showdown in the 'Icebreaker' weekend finale. Terry Phillips slipped back to sixth in his loaded heat race, but later finished third in his B-Main to advance into the 40-lap feature event. After rolling off from the outside of the ninth row in the A-Main, Terry was then able to blast past eleven competitors en route to a solid seventh place performance.

(February 21, 2014) The inaugural, two-day 'Icebreaker' kicked off tonight at El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas, as the cars and stars of the USMTS tour did battle in a $2,000 to win program. Terry Phillips won his heat race from the sixth spot and later rolled off from the inside of the second row in the 30-lap main event. During the course of the race, TP ran amongst the leaders and eventually notched a fourth place outing behind only victor Johnny Scott, Rodney Sanders, and Stormy Scott.

The annual 'Texas Spring Nationals' wrapped up tonight at Royal Purple Raceway and the USMTS showdown boasted a $4,000 winner's check. Terry Phillips won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the 50-lap feature event from the outside of the front row. TP was strong throughout the Open Wheel Modified special and eventually claimed a fourth place effort behind only winner Stormy Scott, John O' Whittington, and Jason Krohn.

(February 14, 2014) Night two of the USMTS 'Texas Spring Nationals' took place tonight at Royal Purple Raceway and a $3,000 top prize was on the line. Terry Phillips logged a fifth place finish in his heat race prior to scoring the victory in his B-Main. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the 40-lap main event, the Springfield, Missouri standout picked off four competitors on his way to a respectable tenth place performance.

(February 13, 2014) Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, took his GRT Open Wheel Modified south to Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas for tonight's USMTS 'Texas Spring Nationals' opener. Terry ran fourth in heat race action, but later won his B-Main to land the fourteenth starting spot in the $2,000 to win feature event. TP was then able to move up three positions during the 30-lap affair and crossed underneath the checkers in eleventh place.

Terry timed in second quickest in his group during NDRL qualifying prior to finishing second in his heat race behind only prelim victor Jimmy Mars. (January 25, 2014) Round two of the NDRL 'Battle at the Border' at El Paso Speedway Park took place tonight and a $5,000 winner's check was up for grabs at the El Paso, Texas facility. Terry Phillips laid down the quickest lap in his group during time trials and later scored the win in heat race action over Billy Moyer, Jr. and Garrett Alberson. After redrawing the fifth starting spot prior to the A-Main, Terry wound up fifth in the caution-free 40-lapper, as he trailed only winner John Blankenship, Kent Robinson, Billy Moyer, Jr., and Ryan Gustin at the checkers.

(January 24, 2014) The inaugural version of the 'Battle at the Border' kicked off tonight for the NDRL Super Late Models and a $3,000 top prize was on the line at the El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas. Terry Phillips qualified fourth fastest in his group during National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) time trials and later earned a third place finish in his heat race behind Billy Moyer and Billy Moyer, Jr. After rolling off from the inside of the fourth row in the 30-lap main event, Terry was running inside of the top ten late in the distance when he pulled off the racing surface. The Springfield, Missouri ace was relegated to a disappointing fourteenth place effort tonight at EPSP.

WINTER EXTREME RESULTS FROM TUCSON
(January 19, 2014)
Terry Phillips and his #75 team wrapped up the 2014 edition of the 'Winter Extreme' miniseries today at Tucson International Raceway, as the six-race burst of events concluded with a $10,000 to win finale. Terry knocked down the fourth quickest lap in his group during National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) qualifying prior to finishing fourth in his heat race and second in his B-Main. After starting the 50-lap main event from the outside of the eleventh row, Terry pulled off the one-groove racing surface early in the race and wound up twentieth in the final finishing order.

(January 18, 2014) Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) was back in action tonight at Tucson International Raceway, as the Tucson, Arizona speedplant played host to the fifth event of the six-race 'Winter Extreme' miniseries. Terry Phillips qualified fourth fastest in his group during NDRL time trials and later placed fifth in his stacked heat race. After grabbing the second and final transfer spot through his B-Main, Terry started the $5,000 to win feature event from the outside of the twelfth row. Unfortunately, TP was an early retiree in the 40-lapper and was credited with a twenty-first place effort.

(January 17, 2014) Another $3,000 winner's check was up for grabs tonight in Tucson, as the fourth round of the 'Winter Extreme' miniseries took place at TIR. Terry Phillips started off the evening by posting the seventh quickest circuit in his group during National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) qualifying. After finishing sixth in both his heat race and his B-Main, Terry was unfortunately forced to watch the 30-lap main event from the grandstands.

(January 15, 2014) After a couple of days off from racing action, the desert heated back up tonight with the third leg of the 'Winter Extreme' miniseries at the Tucson International Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. Terry Phillips laid down the fastest lap in his group during NDRL time trials and later took the win in his loaded heat race. TP then drew the inside of the second row prior to the start of the $3,000 to win feature event and was battling for the win late in the 30-lapper with Billy Moyer and Brandon Sheppard. Unfortunately, Terry made contact with the backstretch wall, which led to problems on his Rocket Chassis and caused him to retire in the twenty-first position.

(January 12, 2014) The second round of the annual 'Winter Extreme' miniseries took place earlier today at Tucson International Raceway and a $5,000 top prize was on the line. Terry Phillips timed in second quickest in his group during the NDRL qualifying session and later scored the win in heat race action. After drawing the outside front row starting spot prior to the 40-lapper, Terry blasted by early leader Billy Moyer, Jr. to grab the point and appeared headed towards a possible victory on the one-groove racetrack. However, mechanical problems underneath the hood of his #75 machine took TP out of the top spot and caused him to finish a very disappointing twenty-first in the final rundown.

(January 11, 2014) Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team kicked off their 2014 racing season tonight in round one of the 'Winter Extreme' miniseries at the Tucson International Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. Terry clicked off the fastest lap in his group during the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) qualifying session and later placed fourth in his stacked heat race after a daunting six-car invert. Following a triumph in his B-Main, Terry started the $3,000 to win feature event from the inside of the tenth row. During the course of the 30-lap lid lifter, which went caution-free, TP drove his Rocket Chassis past ten competitors en route to a solid ninth place performance.
