invaded Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas from March 26-28
for the 'King of America Modified Nationals.' The United States
Modified Touring Series (USMTS) once again sanctioned the
high-profile event, which boasted a hefty $10,000 payday.
On Thursday night, Terry finished fourth in his first heat
race, while he scored a victory in his second prelim of the
evening. In Friday's program, TP ran third in his first heat
race and fifth in his second heat race.
By virtue of the final point standings, Terry
accumulated the ninth most points, which locked him into the
inside of the fifth row for Saturday's 100-lap headliner.
The Springfield, Missouri ace raced hard for a top ten finish
in the mega-event before settling for an eleventh place effort.

SIXTH IN USMTS STOP AT HUMBOLDT
22, 2015) Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) bolted
into Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas on Saturday evening,
March 21 for a $3,000 to win USMTS showdown. After advancing
four spots in his heat race to finish third, Terry Phillips
started the 30-lap headliner from the inside of the fifth
row. The Springfield, Missouri ace then picked off three competitors
during the A-Main en route to a solid sixth place showing
behind only winner Stormy Scott, Dereck Ramirez, Ryan Gustin,

TPR TRAVELS TO
LAS CRUCES FOR WINTER MELTDOWN...
9, 2015) Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team
traveled to Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New
Mexico from March 6-8 for the 21st Annual 'Winter Meltdown.'
Things kicked off at SNMS on Friday evening with a $2,000
to win United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) program.
Terry won his heat race in preliminary action and later redrew
the fifth starting spot prior to the 30-lap main event. The
Springfield, Missouri star then moved up to third in the A-Main
to finish on the podium behind only winner Rodney Sanders
and runner-up Cade Dillard.
On Saturday night, TP unfortunately blew a motor
during his heat race and was not able to compete in the $3,000
to win, 40-lap headliner. The 'Winter Meltdown' then concluded
on Sunday afternoon with another USMTS battle, which paid
$4,000 to the winner. Terry advanced past seven cars during
his heat race to finish second and later redrew the eighth
starting spot for the 50-lapper. At the end of the final race
of the weekend, Terry found himself tenth in the final rundown.

INVADES EL PASO FOR ICE BREAKER...
1, 2015) Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) ventured
to El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas from February 26-28
for the 2nd Annual 'Ice Breaker' extravaganza. The three-day
USMTS showdown at EPSP drew a strong field of Open Wheel Modified
standouts. On Thursday night in the $2,000 to win weekend
opener, Terry Phillips ran third in his heat race and was
battling hard for the second spot in the 30-lapper when he
was unfortunately involved in a wreck with a spinning lapped
car. Terry retired after only seventeen circuits and was placed
twenty-third in the final finishing order.
At El Paso on Friday evening, TP placed eighth
in his heat race prior to grabbing the fourth transfer spot
through the B-Main. After rolling off from the outside of
the tenth row in the $3,000 to win headliner, Terry unfortunately
only completed seventeen laps in the 40-lap affair, which
relegated him to a disappointing twenty-first place effort.
In the weekend finale on Saturday, which boasted a $4,000
payday, the Springfield, Missouri ace moved up to third in
heat race action and later drew the pole position prior to
the start of the 50-lap main event. Terry ran towards the
front of the field early in the distance, but retired after
only 39 laps and found himself twenty-second in the final

WILD WEST SHOOTOUT
18, 2015) The finale of the 'Wild West Shootout'
miniseries was held today at USA Raceway and a $10,000 payday
was on the line at the Tucson, Arizona facility. Terry Phillips
ran third in his heat race and later started the 50-lap headliner
from the outside of the eighth row. The Springfield, Missouri
native then worked his way past five competitors to end the
'Wild West Shootout' with an eleventh place showing.

penultimate event of the 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries today
at USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona. Terry advanced up to sixth
in his heat race and later scored a victory in his consolation
event. After rolling off from the outside of the ninth row
in the $3,000 to win main event, TP was unfortunately involved
in an early race tangle in the 30-lap affair, which dropped
him to a disappointing twenty-third place performance.

The fourth meet of the 2015 version of the
'Wild West Shootout' took center stage tonight at USA Raceway
in Tucson, Arizona. The #75 team had their sights solely set
on the $3,000 winner's check. Terry Phillips finished third
in his heat race, but later grabbed the fourth and final transfer
spot through his consolation race. After starting the 30-lapper
from the inside of the final row, TP ultimately retired from
the A-Main after nineteen circuits and was relegated to a
twenty-second place effort.

Following a few days off to rest and relax
in the desert, round three of the 9th Annual 'Wild West Shootout'
took place tonight at USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona and a
$3,000 top prize was up for grabs. Terry Phillips unfortunately
could not transfer into the night's 30-lap headliner after
finishing sixth in his heat race and twelfth in his B-Main.

again today at USA (AZ) Raceway, as round two of the 'Wild
West Shootout' paid $5,000 to the winner. Terry Phillips moved
up to third in his heat race and later started the 30-lapper
from the outside of the fourth row. TP then advanced inside
of the top five during the main event before claiming a strong
fifth place performance behind only victor Tony Jackson, Jr.,
Adam Hensel, Darrell Lanigan, and Jimmy Owens.

grid in the 30-lap headliner. Unfortunately, motor issues
during the feature caused TP to wind up eighteenth in the
final rundown tonight in the Copper State.
