TERRY PHILLIPS ON PODIUM AT I-80 AND CORNING!

Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team were back on the Lucas Oil MLRA Series trail on June 24-25 with a pair of special events at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska and Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. On Friday night at I-80, Terry won his heat race in preliminary action prior to starting and finishing third in the $3,000 to win headliner behind only winner Jesse Stovall and runner-up Chad Simpson. At Corning on Saturday evening, Terry placed fourth in his stacked heat race and later advanced up to second in the $5,000 to win A-Main to trail only victor Jesse Stovall at the checkers. PHILLIPS FIFTH IN DREAM XXII OPENER AT ELDORA
(June 12, 2016)
Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) made the trek to the hallowed grounds of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on June 9-11 for the 22nd edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Things got underway at the 1/2-mile, high-banked speedplant with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs. On Thursday night, Terry Phillips ran second in his heat race prior to winding up fifth in the $5,000 to win main event behind only prelim winner Brandon Sheppard, Ricky Thornton, Jr., Billy Moyer, and Dale McDowell. In Friday's $10,000 to win show, Terry grabbed the fourth transfer spot through his heat race and placed fifteenth in the final rundown of the 25-lap sprint.

When Saturday rolled around at the "Big E," all eyes were focused on the whopping $100,000 winner's check in 'Dream XXII.' Terry unfortunately missed out on transferring into the 100-lap grind after finishing fifth in his loaded heat race and ninth in his B-Main. Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) invaded three different venues in the states of Iowa and Missouri with the Lucas Oil MLRA Series from June 2-4 to vie for a trio of $3,000 to win top prizes. On Thursday night at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Terry Phillips finished ninth in his heat race following a wreck, third in his B-Main, and thirteenth in the 30-lap headliner. At Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa on Friday evening, Terry placed sixth in his heat race and second in his B-Main prior to claiming a fifteenth place effort in the 40-lapper. In Saturday's weekend finale at Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Missouri, TP won his heat race before bagging a strong runner-up performance in the 40-lap feature behind only winner Chad Simpson. PHILLIPS BUSY OVER MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team closed out their hectic Memorial Day holiday weekend tonight at Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri. The MARS DIRTcar Series presided over the annual running of the 'Tony Roper Memorial' and a $3,000 to win feature headlined the show. Terry ran fourth in heat race action and later started the A-Main from the inside of the sixth row. TP then blasted to the front of the field and picked off nine cars en route to a stellar runner-up showing behind only victor Tony Jackson, Jr.!

(May 28, 2016) The grand finale of the 24th Annual 'Lucas Oil Show-Me 100' took place in front of a huge crowd tonight at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. Terry Phillips had his sole focus set on bagging the whopping $30,000 payday that was up for grabs in the Memorial Day weekend special. Terry placed fifth in his consolation event, but later received a Lucas Oil MLRA Series provisional to gain access into the 100-lap spectacular. The Springfield, Missouri star was then unfortunately involved in an incident early during the rough and tumble 'Show-Me 100' and was relegated to a disappointing thirtieth place performance.

(May 27, 2016) Another $6,000 top prize was on the line tonight at the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri in a special Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson event, which was once again co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Lucas Oil MLRA Series. Terry Phillips qualified twenty-first quickest in Group B during time trials, but later blasted up to third in his loaded heat race. After starting the 40-lapper from the outside of the ninth row, TP was able to climb past four competitors on his way to a fourteenth place showing.

(May 26, 2016) The 24th edition of the 'Lucas Oil Show-Me 100' kicked off tonight at the immaculate Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Lucas Oil MLRA Series co-sanctioned the 'Cowboy Classic' prelim tonight, which drew 57 competitors to vie for the $6,000 winner's check. Terry Phillips was unfortunately unable to transfer into the 45-lap main event - which was won by Jonathan Davenport - after finishing eighth in his loaded heat race and fifth in his B-Main.

Terry Phillips found himself back in victory lane on Friday evening, May 20 in USMTS action at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee, Oklahoma! Terry won his heat race in preliminary action and later started the 37-lapper from the pole position. TP then led laps 1-28 before grabbing the point for good on the 33rd circuit to claim the $3,000 windfall over Ryan Gustin, Rodney Sanders, Jesse Sobbing, and Dereck Ramirez!

On Saturday night, May 21, the USMTS tour took the #75 TPR team to Salina Highbanks Speedway in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma for another $3,000 to win shootout. TERRY PHILLIPS TACKLES MLRA FOES IN IOWA
(May 8, 2016)
Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) trekked to the Hawkeye State of Iowa with the Lucas Oil MLRA Series on May 5-6 for $3,000 to win events at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa and Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa. On Thursday night in Donnellson, Terry Phillips ran eighth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and eleventh in the 40-lap main event. On the 1/4-mile oval at Davenport on Friday evening, Terry won his heat race in preliminary action and stayed towards the front in the 40-lapper before eventually winding up third in the final rundown behind only winner Chris Simpson and runner-up Ryan Gustin.

PHILLIPS BATTLES USMTS STARS IN DOUBLEHEADER

Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team battled the stars of the USMTS Series over the April 22-23 weekend in a pair of $3,000 to win shows at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas and Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Missouri. On Friday night at Lakeside, Terry ran sixth in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main prior to advancing up to tenth in the 32-lap feature event. At Moberly on Saturday evening, Terry advanced up to third in his heat race and had climbed to second in the 37-lap main event before suffering an untimely flat tire. Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) started their busy April 15-17 weekend at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the annual running of the 'Bad Boy 98.' On Friday night, Terry Phillips timed in thirteenth quickest in Group B during qualifying prior to running seventh in his stacked heat race. After finishing fourth in Saturday's consolation event, Terry was unfortunately forced to watch the $20,000 to win main event, which was won by Scott Bloomquist.

On Sunday afternoon, the #75 team rolled into State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Missouri for a Lucas Oil MLRA Series battle, which boasted a $5,000 payday. Terry ran fifth in heat race action and later started the headliner from the inside of the sixth row. On Friday night in the $2,000 to win opener, Terry ran fourth in his heat race prior to scoring the victory in his B-Main. The Springfield, Missouri star then eventually wound up twentieth in the final finishing order of the 30-lap headliner.

At Wheatland on Saturday evening, a $5,000 top prize was on the line in the 'MLRA Spring Nationals' finale. Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) rolled into Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas from March 31-April 2 for the 'King of America VI' spectacular. Things kicked off with a pair of preliminary programs for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) stars on Thursday and Friday. Terry Phillips spun and finished ninth in his first heat race and won his second prelim on Thursday night, while he finished second and sixth respectively in heat race action on Friday evening.

After accumulating the 27th most points during preliminary action, Terry ran second in his C-Main on Saturday before grabbing the seventh transfer spot through the B-Main. The Springfield, Missouri star then blasted past eleven competitors during the 72-lap headliner, which boasted a hefty $12,000 payday, to earn a strong eighth place performance. PHILLIPS VICTORIOUS IN SPRING NATIONALS OPENER!
(March 13, 2016)
Terry Phillips was behind the wheel of a Jordan Grabouski Racing #30T IMCA Modified on March 11-12 during the two-day 'Spring Nationals' weekend at Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska. On Friday night, Terry won his heat race and later started the 30-lap main event from the inside of the third row. The Springfield, Missouri star then grabbed the point shortly after the halfway mark of the headliner and picked up the $2,000 payday ahead of Jesse Sobbing, Justin Zeitner, Hunter Marriott, and Mike Mashl!

Another $2,000 top prize was on the line on Saturday evening in the 'Spring Nationals' finale. Terry finished at the back of his heat race, but later charged to the front in his B-Main to earn the second and final transfer position. After rolling off from the inside of the twelfth row in the 30-lapper, TP blasted to the front of the pack, battled late for the win, and eventually settled for a close third place podium performance behind only winner Jay Noteboom and runner-up Dylan Smith. Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) unloaded their GRT Open Wheel Modified for the first time in 2016 on February 25-27 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Louisiana. The three-day 'Cajun Clash' drew a strong field of competitors for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) special. Things kicked off on Thursday night with a $2,000 to win showdown and Terry Phillips won his heat race in preliminary action. After rolling off from the outside of the second row in the 35-lap headliner, Terry drove up to second to finish a strong runner-up behind only race winner Stormy Scott!

On Friday evening, a $3,000 paycheck was up for grabs in night two of the 5th Annual 'Cajun Clash.' Terry ran second in heat race action, but later suffered problems in the 40-lapper and was placed twenty-fourth in the final finishing order. The Springfield, Missouri star then unfortunately missed out on the $4,000 to win finale on Saturday after running fifth in his heat race and seventh in his B-Main. Terry Phillips ran third in his stacked race and later finished second in his B-Main. TP then started the $5,000 to win feature from the inside of the tenth row before ultimately winding up being paid for an eighteenth place performance in the 30-lap feature.

(January 15, 2016) Race four of the 10th Annual 'Wild West Shootout' took center stage tonight at USA (AZ) Raceway and yet another $5,000 winner's check was up for grabs for the #75 TPR team. Terry Phillips moved up to sixth in his heat race prior to grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his B-Main. The Springfield, Missouri star was unfortunately the first retiree in the caution-free 30-lapper and was placed twenty-fourth in the final finishing order.

(January 10, 2016) Round two of the 'Wild West Shootout' miniseries took to the track today at USA (AZ) Raceway and another $5,000 top prize was on the line in the unsanctioned Super Late Model spectacular. Springfield, Missouri standout Terry Phillips improved to third in his stacked heat race and later rolled off from the inside of the eighth row in the 30-lap main event. During the course of the caution-free affair, Terry unfortunately slipped back to an eighteenth place performance.
