Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, headed to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on October 12-13 for the annual running of the 'MLRA Fall Nationals.' Following a rain-out of Friday's event, Terry competed for a $5,500 top prize on Saturday evening in the Lucas Oil MLRA Series finale. Terry placed fourth in his heat race and later started the 40-lap headliner from the inside of the eighth row. During the course of the attrition-filled race, TP was able to survive on the rough racing surface to improve eleven positions to leave Wheatland with a fourth place showing behind only victor Chad Simpson, Jack Sullivan, and Raymond Merrill! PHILLIPS STEERS TO FOURTH IN RACE FOR HOPE 74!

Springfield, Missouri standout Terry Phillips was in the pit area at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas from September 25-29 for the running of the 'Race for Hope 74,' which paid a whopping $20,000 to the winner for the IMCA Modifieds. Terry placed thirtieth in his qualifier on Wednesday night prior to running sixth in Thursday's qualifier. After sitting out Friday's program and starting seventeenth on the feature grid in Saturday's 74-lap contest, TP put on a show by working all the way up to fourth by the time the checkers flew over the talented field. TERRY PHILLIPS GETS TOP TEN AT DEER CREEK
(September 23, 2018)
The #75 TPR team trekked north to Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota from September 20-22 for the 20th edition of the 'Featherlite Fall Jamboree.' Following a rain-out of Thursday night's program, the USMTS stars raced for a $5,000 payday on Friday evening in the Gopher State. Terry Phillips won his heat race in preliminary action before moving up three spots in the 40-lapper to finish in the ninth position. In Saturday's $10,000 to win finale, TP also won his heat race, but was involved in an incident that caused him to complete only 33 circuits in the 50-lap affair. The Springfield, Missouri ace was eventually paid for a twenty-seventh place performance in the final night of the 'Featherlite Fall Jamboree.' PHILLIPS SIXTH IN $10K WORLD NATIONALS

Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, was back behind the wheel of a #75 IMCA Modified out of the Jordan Grabouski Racing stable on September 14-15 in the annual 'World Nationals' at Marshalltown Speedway in Marshalltown, Iowa. On Friday night in the double set of heat races, Terry finished second in both prelims to earn the seventh most passing points. After rolling off from the inside of the fifth row in Saturday's $10,000 to win main event, TP was able to improve three positions on the one-lane racing surface to secure a steady sixth place performance in the 50-lapper. He trailed only winner Richie Gustin, Jordan Grabouski, Cayden Carter, Tim Ward, and Benji Lacrosse at the checkers. HECTIC WEEKEND FOR #75 TEAM NETS TOP FIVES

With the rain-out earlier tonight at Cresco (IA) Speedway, the #75 team wound up entering a trio of $3,000 to win USMTS specials over the Labor Day holiday weekend (August 30-September 1) in the states of Iowa and Minnesota. On Thursday night at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, Terry Phillips placed third in his heat race before advancing past five competitors in the 40-lapper to score a strong fourth place effort behind only victor Johnny Scott, Rodney Sanders, and Dereck Ramirez. At Fayette County Speedway in West Union, Iowa on Friday evening, Terry won his heat race in preliminary action prior to winding up fifth in the final rundown of the 40-lap main event. In the final race of the weekend on Saturday at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota, TP finished fourth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and nineteenth in the 40-lap headliner. In the $10,002 to win 'Grant Junghans Memorial' at Lakeside on Friday night, Terry Phillips won his heat race and later started from the inside of the third row in the 32-lap main event. Terry won his heat race from the fourth starting spot and later started the 25-lap feature event from the inside of the second row. Terry Phillips found himself back in Lucas Oil MLRA Series victory lane on Friday night, July 27 at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas! Terry won his heat race in preliminary action and later started third on the grid in the 40-lap feature event. TP was then able to pass leader Will Vaught on the final circuit to secure the $3,000 payday in the 'Clyde Ellis Memorial' over Vaught, Logan Martin, Justin Zeitner, and Payton Looney!

On Saturday evening, July 28, the #75 team ventured to Legit Speedway Park in West Plains, Missouri for a $3,000 to win COMP Cams Super Late Model Series tussle. The Springfield, Missouri ace won his heat race and was running second in the headliner before unfortunately getting into the wall, which dropped him to twenty-first in the final finishing order. BUSY WEEK FOR #75 TPR TEAM IN IOWA & NEBRASKA
(July 21, 2018)
The final night of the 'Silver Dollar Nationals' weekend took center stage tonight at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska. Terry Phillips wound up ninth in his B-Main behind the wheel of his Super Late Model, which unfortunately kept him out of the $53,000 to win headliner. In Open Wheel Modified competition, TP placed eleventh in his B-Main and later relied on a USMTS provisional to gain access into the 40-lap feature event, which boasted an $8,000 top prize. The Springfield, Missouri ace then picked off eleven competitors during the contest to leave the Cornhusker State with a thirteenth place outing.

(July 20, 2018) Preliminary action for the 8th Annual 'Silver Dollar Nationals' took place earlier tonight at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska with two rounds of Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified heat races providing passing points that set the lineups for Saturday's main events. In Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series action, Terry Phillips finished fifth in his first heat race and seventh in his final prelim. Behind the wheel of his USMTS modified, Terry placed ninth in both his heat races before running eighteenth in his $1,000 to win qualifying feature.

(July 19, 2018) A trip to I-80 Speedway was next for Terry Phillips, as the first night of the huge racing weekend leading into the 'Silver Dollar Nationals' took place tonight in Greenwood, Nebraska. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned the 'Malvern Bank Go 50' and all eyes were fixated on the $10,000 paycheck. Terry was on kill early in the Late Model blockbuster, as he posted the fifth quickest lap in Group B during qualifying. However, he wound up finishing tenth in both his heat race and his B-Main, which caused Terry to unfortunately miss out on the 50-lap main event that was won by Jonathan Davenport.

(July 18, 2018) Next up on the schedule for the #75 TPR team was a visit tonight to Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The USMTS warriors were back in action in the Hawkeye State and another $2,500 top prize was on the line. Terry Phillips won his heat race in preliminary competition and later moved past two cars during the 30-lap feature on his way to a strong fourth place effort behind only winner Rodney Sanders, Stormy Scott, and Johnny Scott!

(July 17, 2018) A very busy week on the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) schedule kicked off tonight at Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa. Terry Phillips advanced to second in his heat race and later started seventh on the grid in the $2,500 to win headliner. He then hung around the top ten in the 35-lap main event and eventually garnered a solid eighth place showing.

Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) returned to the Super Late Model scene for the second straight weekend on Saturday evening, July 14 at the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The annual running of the 'Diamond Nationals' took place at the 3/8-mile oval last night and a $12,000 top prize was on the line in the single-day spectacular, which was co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA Series. Terry Phillips timed in ninth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session before finishing sixth in his heat race and fifth in the B-Main. After rolling off from the inside of the eleventh row in the 50-lap headliner, Terry eventually drove his #75 machine to a seventeenth place feature showing. In Friday night's $3,000 to win weekend lid lifter, Terry ran second in his heat race, but pitted on lap two of the feature with a flat tire and had to storm back to salvage a fifth place performance in the 30-lapper behind only victor Will Vaught, Jesse Stovall, Tony Jackson, Jr., and Jeremy Grady. At Aberdeen on Friday evening, Terry placed second in his heat race and fifth in the $3,000 to win main event behind only victor Zack VanderBeek, Johnny Scott, Alex Guthmiller, and Mike Stearns. Following a long overnight drive to Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska for a $2,000 to win show on Friday, TP placed fourth in his heat race prior to steering the GRT racecar to a fifth place effort in the A-Main behind only winner Jordan Grabouski, Johnny Saathoff, Dylan Smith, and Jesse Sobbing. TP FIFTH IN MODIFIED MASTERS OPENER AT CLS!

Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) followed the USMTS trail north to the renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin from June 14-16 for the 2nd Annual 'Modified Masters.' In the $2,500 to win opener on Thursday night, Terry Phillips won his heat race prior to winding up fifth in the 40-lap feature behind only winner Stormy Scott, Jake Timm, Casey Arneson, and Jake O'Neil. On Friday evening, Terry placed fifth in both of his heat races, which accumulated him the 15th most passing points in preliminary action. After grabbing the fourth transfer spot through Saturday's consolation race, TP started the $40,000 to win headliner from the outside of the eighth row. The Springfield, Missouri star pitted during the 70-lapper due to a tire going down, but battled back to salvage a solid eleventh place performance. The cars and stars of the USMTS tour rolled into the state of Kansas from June 7-9 for the 'Sunflower State Showdown,' which featured three complete shows at 81 Speedway in Park City, Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, and Salina Speedway in Salina. On Thursday night at 81 in a $2,500 to win program, Terry Phillips placed sixth in his heat race, fourth in his B-Main, and thirteenth in the 40-lapper. At Dodge City on Friday evening, Terry advanced to fourth in his heat race prior to passing five competitors during the $3,000 to win A-Main to bag a solid sixth place showing. In the $3,000 to win weekend finale on Saturday at Salina, TP ran eighth in his heat race (flat tire), third in his B-Main, and eighth in the 40-lap headliner.
