BUSY WEEK FOR #75 TPR TEAM IN IOWA & NEBRASKA

Next up on the schedule for the #75 TPR team was a visit tonight to Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The USMTS warriors were back in action in the Hawkeye State and another $2,500 top prize was on the line. Terry Phillips won his heat race in preliminary competition and later moved past two cars during the 30-lap feature on his way to a strong fourth place effort behind only winner Rodney Sanders, Stormy Scott, and Johnny Scott!

(July 17, 2018) A very busy week on the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) schedule kicked off tonight at Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa. Terry Phillips advanced to second in his heat race and later started seventh on the grid in the $2,500 to win headliner. He then hung around the top ten in the 35-lap main event and eventually garnered a solid eighth place showing.

TERRY PHILLIPS ADVANCES INTO DIAMOND NAT'LS
(July 15, 2018)
Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) returned to the Super Late Model scene for the second straight weekend on Saturday evening, July 14 at the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The annual running of the 'Diamond Nationals' took place at the 3/8-mile oval last night and a $12,000 top prize was on the line in the single-day spectacular, which was co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA Series. Terry Phillips timed in ninth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session before finishing sixth in his heat race and fifth in the B-Main. After rolling off from the inside of the eleventh row in the 50-lap headliner, Terry eventually drove his #75 machine to a seventeenth place feature showing. PHILLIPS BACK IN LATE MODEL AT LAKE OZARK!

Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, unloaded his Super Late Model for a rare 2018 appearance on July 6-7 at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri for a pair of Lucas Oil MLRA Series battles. In Friday night's $3,000 to win weekend lid lifter, Terry ran second in his heat race, but pitted on lap two of the feature with a flat tire and had to storm back to salvage a fifth place performance in the 30-lapper behind only victor Will Vaught, Jesse Stovall, Tony Jackson, Jr., and Jeremy Grady. At Lake Ozark on Saturday evening in the $5,000 to win finale, TP won his heat race and captured a strong third place podium effort in the 41-lap headliner behind only race winner Will Vaught and runner-up Jesse Stovall. TP RUNNER-UP IN USMTS TRIPLEHEADER OPENER!
(July 1, 2018)
Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) ventured north to Nobles County Speedway in Worthington, Minnesota, Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and Devils Lake Speedway in Crary, North Dakota from June 28-30 for a triple shot of USMTS action. On Thursday at Nobles County, Terry Phillips ran second in his heat race and a strong runner-up in the $2,500 to win headliner behind only winner Johnny Scott. At Aberdeen on Friday evening, Terry placed second in his heat race and fifth in the $3,000 to win main event behind only victor Zack VanderBeek, Johnny Scott, Alex Guthmiller, and Mike Stearns. In the $3,000 to win weekend finale on Saturday night at Devils Lake, TP finished eighth in his heat race and twentieth in the A-Main after getting caught up in an early multi-car pileup. PHILLIPS GETS TOP FIVES IN WISCONSIN & NEBRASKA!

Terry Phillips wheeled one of Jordan Grabouski's IMCA Modifieds from June 20-22 in the states of Wisconsin and Nebraska. At 141 Speedway in Maribel, Wisconsin, Terry ran second in his first heat race on Wednesday night and later finished third in his second prelim. Following a win in his B-Main on Thursday evening, Terry drove past seven competitors during the $10,000 to win headliner en route to a strong fourth place performance. Following a long overnight drive to Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska for a $2,000 to win show on Friday, TP placed fourth in his heat race prior to steering the GRT racecar to a fifth place effort in the A-Main behind only winner Jordan Grabouski, Johnny Saathoff, Dylan Smith, and Jesse Sobbing. TP FIFTH IN MODIFIED MASTERS OPENER AT CLS!
(June 17, 2018)
Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) followed the USMTS trail north to the renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin from June 14-16 for the 2nd Annual 'Modified Masters.' In the $2,500 to win opener on Thursday night, Terry Phillips won his heat race prior to winding up fifth in the 40-lap feature behind only winner Stormy Scott, Jake Timm, Casey Arneson, and Jake O'Neil. On Friday evening, Terry placed fifth in both of his heat races, which accumulated him the 15th most passing points in preliminary action. After grabbing the fourth transfer spot through Saturday's consolation race, TP started the $40,000 to win headliner from the outside of the eighth row. The Springfield, Missouri star pitted during the 70-lapper due to a tire going down, but battled back to salvage a solid eleventh place performance. PHILLIPS EARNS PAIR OF TOP TENS IN USMTS ACTION

The cars and stars of the USMTS tour rolled into the state of Kansas from June 7-9 for the 'Sunflower State Showdown,' which featured three complete shows at 81 Speedway in Park City, Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, and Salina Speedway in Salina. On Thursday night at 81 in a $2,500 to win program, Terry Phillips placed sixth in his heat race, fourth in his B-Main, and thirteenth in the 40-lapper. At Dodge City on Friday evening, Terry advanced to fourth in his heat race prior to passing five competitors during the $3,000 to win A-Main to bag a solid sixth place showing. In the $3,000 to win weekend finale on Saturday at Salina, TP ran eighth in his heat race (flat tire), third in his B-Main, and eighth in the 40-lap headliner. After entering Thursday's opening night of the 'Show-Me 100' at Lucas Oil (MO) Speedway, Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) ventured north to compete in United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) action. Terry Phillips was rained-out on Friday evening at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin, but things went off without a hitch on Saturday night at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota. Terry stormed up to third in his heat race prior to knocking down a solid sixth place effort in the $3,000 to win headliner. At Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah, Iowa on Sunday in the $2,500 to win weekend finale, TP finished fifth in his heat race and eleventh in the 40-lapper. PHILLIPS WINS AT MARSHALLTOWN; RAIN AT FARLEY
(May 13, 2018)
Springfield, Missouri star Terry Phillips bagged his first feature win of the 2018 racing season on Thursday night, May 10 in a last minute trip to Marshalltown Speedway in Marshalltown, Iowa! Driving an IMCA Modified out of Jordan Grabouski's stable, Terry finished second in his heat race and later drew the outside of the front row in the 25-lap feature event. TP never relinquished the top spot throughout the distance and claimed the $1,000 winner's share ahead of Johnny Scott, Tyler Droste, Stormy Scott, and Todd Shute. The 'Super Modified Weekend' at Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa over the May 11-12 weekend was then washed out, but the $50,000 to win IMCA Modified special is supposed to be rescheduled in the future. TERRY PHILLIPS SOLID IN OKLAHOMA DOUBLE-DIP

Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team were back on the USMTS trail on May 5-6 in a pair of races at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, Oklahoma and Creek County Speedway in Kellyville, Oklahoma. On Saturday evening at Tri-State Speedway, Terry won his heat race and led the first seventeen circuits of the $3,000 to win headliner before winding up fourth in the final rundown of the 40-lapper behind only winner Zack VanderBeek, Rodney Sanders, and Jake O'Neil. At Creek County Speedway on Sunday night, TP advanced to third in his heat race prior to moving up to seventh in the $2,500 to win main event, which also featured a myriad of different bonus money and awards.
