PHILLIPS INVADES UPPER MIDWEST WITH USMTS
(July 19, 2021)
Terry Phillips invaded the Upper Midwest from July 14-18 for a quartet of high-profile USMTS showdowns in the states of South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. Terry's best run of the week came in Wednesday's opener at Casino Speedway in Watertown, South Dakota. TP placed second in his heat race and later rolled off from the outside of the fifth row in the $5,000 to win headliner. After forty green flag circuits in the feature, the Springfield, Missouri ace wound up finishing right where he started... in the tenth position.

In other action during the hectic week, Terry wound up sixteenth in a $5,000 to win main event on Friday at Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota, fifteenth in Saturday's $10,000 to win shootout at Ogilvie, and seventeenth in the $5,000 to win finale on Sunday at Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, Iowa. TP SPENDS INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEKEND IN IOWA
(July 4, 2021)
Springfield, Missouri ace Terry Phillips unloaded his #75 Super Late Model in a pair of $5,000 to win Lucas Oil MLRA Series tilts in the Hawkeye State of Iowa on July 2-3. On Friday night at 300 Raceway in Farley, Iowa, Terry placed sixth in his loaded heat race, but was unfortunately caught up in a wreck on lap 14 of the main event and relegated to an eighteenth place showing. At 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa on Saturday evening, Terry finished fifth in heat race action and later wound up nineteenth in the final rundown of the 40-lap headliner. PHILLIPS SOLID IN LUCRATIVE MINNESOTA WEEKEND
(June 28, 2021)
Terry Phillips was in IMCA Modified action from June 24-27 in a quartet of special events in the state of Minnesota. Things kicked off on Thursday night in a $5,000 to win program at Princeton Speedway in Princeton, Minnesota, which turned out to be Terry's best effort of the busy weekend. TP won his heat race and later led the majority of the headliner until relinquishing the point with only three circuits remaining in the race. The Springfield, Missouri ace eventually recorded an impressive runner-up effort behind only race winner Jesse Glenz!

On Friday at North Central Speedway in Brainerd, Terry once again won his heat race before winding up ninth in the final rundown of the $5,000 to win main event. In Saturday's showdown at North Central Speedway, which boasted a $10,000 top prize, Terry ran third in his heat race and won his B-Main prior to advancing to twelfth in the high-profile feature. On Sunday in another $10,000 to win battle at Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids, Terry placed second in his heat race before slipping back to ninth at the unfurling of the checkered flag in the A-Main. TERRY PHILLIPS HAS BUSY WEEK IN BADGER STATE
(June 20, 2021)
Springfield, Missouri star Terry Phillips was very busy in the Badger State from June 16-19 in special events at 141 Speedway in Maribel, Wisconsin and Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin. On Wednesday and Thursday in the annual IMCA 'Clash at the Creek," Terry drove a Jordan Grabouski Racing machine to a fifth place performance in the $10,000 to win headliner after starting the contest in the eleventh spot. He trailed only victor Johnny Whitman, Mike Mullen, Josh Long, and Cody Laney at the checkered flag!

At Cedar Lake over the weekend, a pair of USMTS showdowns were held during the annual running of the 'Masters. On Friday night, Terry advanced up to second in his heat race before starting and finishing eighth in the $5,000 to win main event. In Saturday's annual 'Masters' finale, which boasted a $10,000 paycheck, TP finished third in his heat race and won his B-Main before suffering a hole in his tire during the feature, which led to a disappointing twenty-third place showing. PHILLIPS INVADES PARK JEFF & HAMILTON COUNTY
(June 6, 2021)
Terry Phillips and his #75 team continued on with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) over the June 4-5 weekend at Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, South Dakota and Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa. On Friday night in a $10,000 to win throwdown at Park Jeff, Terry ran sixth in his loaded heat race, second in his B-Main, and eleventh in the 35-lap feature event, which was contested on a mostly one-groove racing surface. At Webster City on Saturday evening in a similar USMTS contest, TP placed fourth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and twenty-sixth in the 35-lapper after a broken brake line forced the Springfield, Missouri standout to retire after only ten circuits. BUSY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND FOR TERRY PHILLIPS
(May 31, 2021)
A trio of $10,000 top prizes were on the line for Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) over the Memorial Day holiday weekend (May 28-30) in the states of Iowa and Minnesota with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS). On Friday night in the opener at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa, Terry Phillips ran third in his heat race prior to starting the 40-lap feature from the inside of the fifth row. TP then moved up one spot during the course of the contest to leave the Hawkeye State oval with an eighth place performance.

At Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota on Saturday evening, Terry placed fourth in his loaded heat race, third in his B-Main, and fourteenth in the 40-lapper. In the weekend finale on Sunday at Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah, Iowa, Terry unfortunately hit the wall hard in his heat race and was forced to unload a back-up car for the 40-lap headliner. The Springfield, Missouri superstar utilized a series provisional and then rallied past twelve competitors during the contest to land in the eleventh finishing position. PHILLIPS BACK IN USMTS ACTION; EIGHTH AT POCOLA
(May 16, 2021)
Terry Phillips and his #75 TPR team were back on the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) grind on May 14-15 in a doubleheader at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas and Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, Oklahoma. In the $10,000 to win show on Friday night at Lakeside, Terry advanced to fifth in his heat race, finished second in his B-Main, and later climbed to twelfth in the final rundown of the 35-lapper. At Pocola on Saturday evening in a similar $10,000 to win program, TP secured a heat race triumph, but slipped back three spots during the 40-lap headliner to close out the weekend with an eighth place performance. TERRY PHILLIPS SIXTH IN BAD BOY 98 OPENER

Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) made their way to Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas on May 7-8 for the annual running of the 'Bad Boy 98.' In Friday night's $5,000 to win opener, Terry Phillips ran third in his stacked heat race prior to moving up to sixth in the 30-lap feature to trail only victor Jonathan Davenport, B.J. Robinson, Billy Moyer, Jr., Kyle Beard, and Morgan Bagley. At BMS on Saturday evening in the $12,000 to win grand finale, Terry placed fifth in his heat race, but later pulled off the racing surface early in the 68-lap main event and was relegated to an eighteenth place showing. PHILLIPS CASHES IN FOR THIRD WIN OF '21 SEASON!

Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, recorded his third feature win of the 2021 campaign on Saturday evening, May 1 at the nearby Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri! Terry blitzed from his eighth starting spot in his heat race to take home the prelim victory and he later rolled off from the pole position in the 20-lap weekly USRA Modified main event. TP then wired the feature field to bag the $750 windfall ahead of Chase Domer, Matt Johnson, Jason Pursley, and Dillon McCowan.
