#75 TEAM STARTS 2025 CAMPAIGN IN NEW MEXICO
(January 12, 2025)
The grand finale of the 2025 Wild West Shootout miniseries was held today at Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico. Terry Phillips won his heat race from the pole position and later rolled off from the inside of the fifth row in the 25-lapper. Racing for a $3,000 top prize, Terry crossed the finish line in the eighth position. In the five Open Wheel Modified shows held at Vado over the last week, TP bagged one Top Five finish and four Top Ten performances.

(January 11, 2025) The penultimate event of the Wild West Shootout took place earlier this evening at Vado Speedway Park. With a $2,000 payday up for grabs, Terry Phillips passed five cars in his heat race to finish in the second spot. TP then started from the outside of the front row in the 25-lap main event and ultimately placed sixth at the checkered flag behind only victor Dustin Sorensen, Cade Dillard, Kyle Strickler, Gary Christian, and Joseph Thomas.

(January 10, 2025) A $1,000 winner's check was on the line for the Open Wheel Modifieds tonight at Vado Speedway Park. After finally beating Mother Nature, Terry Phillips placed fifth in his heat race and third in his B-Main prior to starting the 20-lap feature from the inside of the eleventh row. When the checkered flag fell over the field in Vado, New Mexico, TP found himself credited with a twenty-second place performance.

(January 9, 2025) Tonight’s rescheduled third leg of the Wild West Shootout miniseries at Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico was scrapped after additional inclement weather blanketed the dirt oval with snow. Action in the desert is slated to fire back up on Friday, January 10 - weather pending.

(January 8, 2025) Due to cold weather and the possibility of snow showers in Vado, New Mexico, Wild West Shootout officials have pushed back tonight's scheduled program to Thursday, January 9.

(January 5, 2025) Round two of the Wild West Shootout miniseries took place tonight at Vado Speedway Park and another $2,000 top prize was up for grabs for the open wheel warriors. Terry Phillips once again advanced to finish second in his heat race and later rolled off from the pole position in the 25-lapper. At the checkers, TP found himself in the fourth spot behind only victor Jake Gallardo, Dustin Sorensen, and Kyle Strickler!

(January 4, 2025) The 2025 season for the Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) team got underway earlier tonight at Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico. The first round of the Wild West Shootout miniseries shelled out a $2,000 paycheck for the Open Wheel Modifieds. Terry Phillips blasted past six cars in his heat race to finish second and later wound up ninth in the final rundown of the 25-lap main event.

PHILLIPS CLOSES SEASON WITH TURKEY BOWL WIN!
(November 17, 2024)
Terry Phillips wrapped up his 2024 campaign in triumphant fashion in the annual 'Turkey Bowl' at his hometown Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Missouri on November 15-16! In the Open Wheel Modified portion of the show, Terry won his first heat race of the evening on Friday before placing fourth in his final heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the second row in Saturday's 30-lap headliner, Terry took the lead with seven circuits remaining to claim his sixth feature win of the season. TP picked up the $6,064 payday for besting a top five that included runner-up Kyle Steffens, Zack VanderBeek, Darin Duffy, and Kenny Wallace! TP FOLLOWS USMTS TOUR TO 81 SPEEDWAY

Following a rain-out on Friday night at Lakeside (KS) Speedway, the #75 team followed the USMTS tour to 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas on Saturday evening, October 26. The 4th Annual 'Modified Spooktacular' took place last night and a $5,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Terry Phillips moved up four spots in his heat race to finish fifth and later started the 40-lap feature from the inside of the sixth row. PHILLIPS FIFTH IN $20,000 FALL NATIONALS!

Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) invaded Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico from October 18-20 for the annual running of the 'USRA Fall Nationals.' After finishing eighth in Friday's prelim feature and third on Saturday night, Terry Phillips rolled off from the outside of the third row in Sunday's 50-lap headliner. With a whopping $20,000 first place prize up for grabs, Terry wound up placing fifth in the final rundown behind only victor Cade Dillard, Rodney Sanders, Jake Gallardo, and Jake Timm! TOP FIVE FOR PHILLIPS IN ROUTE 66 FINALE

Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, was back on the UMSTS grind on October 4-5 in a pair of $5,000 to win series races at Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas. In night one of the 11th Annual 'Amarillo Ambush' on Friday, Terry ran ninth in his heat race, sixth in his B-Main, and twelfth in the 40-lap feature event after picking off eleven competitors. On Saturday evening in the weekend finale, Terry placed fifth in his heat race prior to winning his B-Main and blasting past eight racecars during the 50-lapper to land in the fifth position behind only victor Jake O'Neill, Tyler Wolff, Mark Smith, and Jake Timm! TERRY PHILLIPS ON PODIUM IN $50K MOD WAR 100!
(September 22, 2024)
Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) dipped south to Heart O' Texas Speedway in Elm Mott, Texas from September 18-21 for the 'Mod War 100.' Things kicked off on Wednesday night with a $10,000 to win Modified All-Star Race. Terry Phillips timed in fourth fastest during the qualifying session and later ran third in the 30-lapper behind only victor Cade Dillard and runner-up Jason Hughes!

In his $2,000 to win qualifying features, Terry ran fifth on Thursday and fourth on Friday. After winning his Mod War Showdown on Saturday evening, the Springfield, Missouri star started and finished third in the 100-lap headliner. Terry trailed only $50,000 victor Jim Chisholm and runner-up Jake O'Neil at the unfurling of the checkered flag. The #75 team made a visit to Old No. 1 Speedway in Harrisburg, Arkansas on Saturday evening, September 7 for the 'Heavy Duty 35,' which was part of the 'Brandon Mitchell Memorial.' Terry Phillips clicked off the eighth quickest time in Group A during the Open Wheel Modified qualifying session prior to winning his heat race from the third starting spot. After rolling off from the outside of the front row in the 35-lap headliner, TP finished an impressive runner-up behind only $5,001 winner Kyle Beard! TOP TEN FOR PHILLIPS IN DEER CREEK FINALE

Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) was back on the USMTS trail from August 29-31 in the 26th Annual 'Featherlite Fall Jamboree' at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota. After Thursday's $3,000 to win contest was nixed by inclement weather, Terry Phillips finished seventh in his heat race, eighth in his B-Main, and sixteenth in Friday's $5,000 to win main event. With a $12,000 top prize up for grabs in the weekend finale on Saturday evening, Terry advanced to fourth in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later climbed five spots during the 50-lap headliner to land in the eighth finishing position. The annual running of the 'Larry Phillips Memorial' was next on the racing calendar for the #75 team on Sunday, August 18 at Monett Motor Speedway in Monett, Missouri. The Heartland Modified Tour sanctioned the special event for the first time and a $7,575 winner's check was up for grabs plus a myriad of different bonuses. Terry Phillips won his heat race prior to placing second in the pole dash. After starting the 40-lap headliner from the outside of the front row, Terry led the race briefly before winding up third at the checkers behind only victor Tyler Wolff and runner-up Rodney Sanders. TERRY PHILLIPS WINS IN LAKESIDE LID LIFTER!!
(August 10, 2024)
Following a third place podium performance in USMTS action on Wednesday night at Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska, Terry Phillips picked up his fifth checkered flag of 2024 on Thursday evening in a split-field USMTS program at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas! In the 'Grant Junghans Memorial' opener, Terry ran second in his heat race prior to leading all but the first circuit in the 22-lap feature event. At the checkers, TP was celebrating a $2,222 triumph over runner-up Kyle Strickler, Gary Christian, Jim Chisholm, and Jason Hughes.

In Friday's 8th Annual 'Grant Junghans Memorial' at Lakeside, a total of 36 USMTS competitors signed into the pit area at Lakeside to do battle for the $12,002 first place prize money. Terry won his heat race in preliminary action and later rolled off from the outside of the front row for the 42-lap headliner. After pacing the talented field for the first 18 circuits, the Springfield, Missouri superstar wound up third at the finish behind only winner Tyler Wolff and runner-up Rodney Sanders. PHILLIPS RUNNER-UP IN WHEATLAND OPENER!
(August 4, 2024)
Following a weekend off, Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) kicked off the month of August at the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. A pair of $5,000 winner's checks were up for grabs in the USMTS Slick Mist Show-Me Shootout on August 2-3. On Friday night in the weekend opener, Terry Phillips won his heat race and later led the entertaining 40-lap feature on three different occasions before landing in the runner-up spot behind only victor Jim Chisholm. With another $5,000 payday up for grabs on Saturday evening, Terry placed fifth in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later climbed six spots during the 50-lapper en route to a steady seventh place effort. TERRY PHILLIPS CELEBRATES ON USMTS PODIUM!
(July 22, 2024)
The Terry Phillips Racing (TPR) team followed the USMTS tour to Fairmont Raceway in Fairmont, Minnesota and Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, Iowa from July 18-21 for four special events. On Thursday in a $3,000 to win throwdown at Fairmont, Terry Phillips advanced four spots to finish fourth in his heat race and later rolled off from the outside of the front row in the 25-lap feature. At the checkers, TP was celebrating on the podium, as he finished a strong third behind only victor Rodney Sanders and runner-up Jim Chisholm!

At Mason City on Friday evening with a $5,000 paycheck up for grabs, Terry won his heat race in preliminary action and later placed fourth in the 40-lapper behind only victor Rodney Sanders, Jake Timm, and Jim Chisholm. In a similar $5,000 to win show on Saturday night at Mason City, the Springfield, Missouri standout finished third in his heat race and seventh in the 40-lap main event. PHILLIPS RUNNER-UP IN MOD WARS AT OGILVIE!
(July 14, 2024)
Terry Phillips, of Springfield, Missouri, ventured north to Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota from July 11-13 for the annual running of 'Mod Wars,' which was co-sanctioned by USMTS and WISSOTA. On Thursday night in the $3,000 to win weekend opener, Terry won his heat race, but problems in the 30-lap feature dropped him to a twenty-first place outing. At Ogilvie on Friday evening, Terry finished eighth in his heat race, fifth in his B-Main, and eleventh in the $5,000 to win main event.

An $11,000 paycheck was then up for grabs on Saturday in the 'Mod Wars' grand finale. Terry saved his best performance for last, as he ran second in his heat race and later rolled off from the inside of the third row in the 50-lap headliner. TP then blasted past a trio of competitors to land in the runner-up spot behind only victor Jake O'Neil!
